John Coupe established his original company on May 1st 1993. Working then alone and from the kitchen table the company has developed over the past 14 years into
Packaging World Ltd as we know it today.
During the early phase, Southgate Packaging of Barnsley and Barber Packaging of Bradford were acquired. In mid 2004 J. Eastwood & Son of Halifax, a long established firm were added. Packaging World seemed an obvious name to describe the vast range of products now available.
In February 2002, the company purchased a 15,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Sowerby Bridge to accommodate the ever expanding business. With a team of 15 professional staff we are able to react rapidly to customer requirements. We deliver goods in our own fleet of vans within the West/North Yorkshire area and use quality carriers for other areas.
